Lavender Popcorn

Lavender popcorn

Serves 4 - 6

Wine Pairing: Pietro Family Cellars Sauvignon Blanc

Preparation Time: 3 minutes. Cooking Time: 3 minutes. Total Time: 6 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ Cup organic popcorn kernels
  • 4 Tsp. GC Napa Valley Meyer Lemon Olive Oil
  • ½ Tsp. GC Napa Valley Lavender Tellicherry Pepper
  • ½ Tsp. GC Napa Valley Lavender Sea Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Parmesan Cheese, shredded (micro-plan)
  • ½ Lemon, for zest

TO PREPARE

  1. Toss ¼ cup un-popped popcorn in a mixing bowl with ¼ Tsp. GCNV Meyer Lemon Olive Oil to coat.
  2. Place popcorn in a large/tall brown paper lunch bag, fold down top inch of bag twice to seal and place flat in microwave for 3 minutes.
  3. Once popcorn is popped, pour into a mixing bowl, and add 1 Tsp. GCNV Meyer Lemon Olive Oil (or to taste) and toss popcorn until fully coated, this allows the additional ingredients to stick better.
  4. Add GCNV Lavender Sea Salt, GCNV Lavender Tellicherry Pepper, parmesan cheese, and zest of ½ lemon.
  5. Mix and enjoy!

TO SERVE

Add popcorn to your favorite bowl or serving dish. Have a seat and enjoy the game!
