French Vanilla Ice Cream-Orange Olive Oil Parfait with Dark Chocolate Chips

INGREDIENTS
- 1 quart French vanilla ice cream
- ½ cup GC Napa Valley Natural Orange Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp. GC Napa Valley Natural Culinary Lavender Finishing Sea Salt
- 1 pkg. 6 oz. GC Napa Valley Organic Dark Chocolate Chips, (Coconut Sugar Sweetened, No Soy)
- 6 Pepperidge Farms Creme Filled Pirouette Rolled Wafers
Optional
- ½ fresh orange slice per serving, cut ¼” thick, 6 total
- 2 Tbsp. GC Napa Valley Natural Culinary Lavender Sugar
TO PREPARE
- Select individual serving glasses, such as parfait, wine or martini glasses.
- Put glasses into the freezer for 10 minutes. Take out and work quickly.
- Add 1 scoop ice cream to the glass. Drizzle 1-1¼ tsps. Orange Olive Oil over ice cream.
- Repeat 2 more times (3 scoops per serving) using approximately 3-4 tsps. Orange Olive Oil per serving.
- Sprinkle top with a pinch of Lavender Finishing Sea Salt and 4-6 Dark Chocolate Chips.
- Push 1 Creme Filled Wafer into the ice cream with top sticking out or tuck in alongside ice cream.
- Optional gourmet garnish to make ahead and have ready: Dip ½ fresh orange slice in GC Napa Valley Natural Culinary Lavender Sugar. Place under broiler for 3-4 minutes on each side to caramelize sugar.
TO SERVE
Place the glass on a saucer and accent with a fresh flower from your garden.
Gourmet version: Make a small center cut in the caramelized lavender sugar orange slice half and place on edge of glass.
