Holiday New Family Traditions
Lavender Shortbread Cookies -Lavender is a beautifully delicate flavor that we have incorporated into many of our GC Napa Valley Culinary products. One of our favorite ways to use lavender however is a bit sweeter… We serve our Lavender Shortbread Cookies paired with our Pietro Family Cellars Sauvignon Blanc. Try our recipe here!
Rosemary Lemon Palmier: Rosemary and Lemon are a fresh take on the traditional Palmier cookie. Rich and airy, these puff pastry sweets are a departure from the traditional holiday cookie. We love this recipe because it is easy to prepare with ready-made puff pastry, and the burst of lemon from our GC Napa Valley Lemon Honey pairs perfectly with Rosemary! Palmier pair nicely with our Pietro Family Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, Napa County.
Cabernet Chocolate Truffles: Rich and full of flavor there is never a better time to add a Cabernet Truffle to you holiday cookie repertoire. You do not even need to turn on your oven for truffles! We used a variety of coatings to give this additional depth, and we encourage you to get creative with these in your kitchen! Truffles also pair nicely with a rich red wine like our Gabrielle Limited Cask 321, Napa Valley.
We hope you enjoy these tips! Let us know if you try the recipes!
