Rosé D’Été 2018

A vintage of charm and buckets of wild strawberries
Rosé d’Été means Rosé of the summer – a refreshing wine that embodies the moments and memories of warm summer days. Enjoy buckets of fresh strawberry flavors. 2018 had a bountiful number of warm days to create expressive fruitiness, but an extended October cooler ripening period preserved the crispness.
The Wine
This was another year that created beautifully structured wines.
Tasting Notes
Our Rosé shows the complexity of Cabernet Sauvignon with the lightheartedness of a Rosé. A touch of Merlot adds to the fun. A firm structure with bright strawberry aromatics and flavors!
Vineyards
The Rosé is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from the O'Connell Family Estate Vineyard in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, which benefits from the cool down effect of late morning fog from the San Francisco Bay. The boutique Koller vineyard in Yountville added another dimension providing additional Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
