A century of wine tradition in every glass

Red Wine, North Coast 2010
PIETRO FAMILY CELLARS produces a classic Old World style Cabernet Sauvignon with firm structure that has roots in the terroir, made with minimal manipulation. Following the heritage that Pietro represents to our family, our Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in the great soils of the classic, historic California Cabernet Sauvignon growing regions: Napa Valley and Lake Country, resulting in a North Coast designation. We brought back an old world tradition of blending a little Syrah into our wine as was historically done in Bordeaux.

The Wine
The vintage year of 2010 had a cooler growing season resulting in approachable, elegant wine with a firm structure, reminiscent of a Bordeaux vintage.
Tasting Notes
A juicy red blend with fresh red berry flavors. A touch of earthiness and spice.
Vineyards
Pietro took vine cuttings from neighboring vineyards to start his winery. The result was a field blend of red varietals. We followed that tradition to create a complex red wine.
