The Gabrielle Collection is a winery that produces a collection of handcrafted Cabernet Sauvignons, which bring out the diverse personalities of the noble Cabernet grape through artful blending. Varietal

100% Cabernet Sauvignon

The Wine

EQUILATERAL expresses the balanced triangle of the wine experience: beautiful aromas…a rich mid-palette of complex fruitiness playing against elegantly structured tannins…a lingering finish. The perfect triangle- Equilateral- ideally symbolizes Gabrielle ideal. The 2008 vintage had a dramatic growing season, with frost wiping out vineyard buds and heat spikes during bloom in May and in August. It delivered a very small crop due to these extremes but with an exceptional quality. The vintage produced wines that are very rich and full-bodied and well-balanced, with plenty of tannins for aging.

Tasting Notes

Red currant and cassis aromas greet you, followed by flavors of black currents, blackberry, cedar and toast. A wine of great structure and elegance that releases its flavors layer by layer, each a new and exciting discovery!
