Warm and Sumptuous Ricotta Dip

This is a crowd pleaser! Warm, comforting, yummy. Perfect for and casual entertaining-TV game days, at home movies wine tasting parties.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese. We prefer Bellwether Farms Basket Ricotta
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp GC Napa Valley Orange Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp GC Napa Valley Savory Extra Virgin Olive OIl
  • Zest of 1/2 orange
  • 1/4 cup GC Napa Valley Culinary Infused Lavender Honey
  • 1/4 tsp each: GC Napa Valley Tuscan Rosemary Finishing Sea Salt and Culinary Lavender Tellicherry Pepper
  • 20 pieces Wild Fennel Olive Oil Crostini

TO PREPARE

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Brush an oven proof but decorative medium-size baking dish with oiled with 1 tablespoon Savory Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

  3. Add the orange zest, Lavender Honey and Tuscan Rosemary Sea Salt and combine with whisk.
  4. Pour the mixture into the oiled baking dish. Top with1 tablespoon Savory Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Lavender Tellicherry Pepper.
  5. Bake until the ricotta has set to be firm when shaken and lightly brown on top- approximately 20 minutes.

TO SERVE

Serve warm in the baking dish with tasty Wild Fennel Olive Oil Crostini for guests to dip into the yummy cheese.
